Put the rad in radish with a Farm Share!

The Create Common Good weekly U-Pick CSA experience brings you closer to your food source as you anticipate the ripening of tasty raspberries and sun-drenched tomatoes, dig potatoes from the earth, and marvel in the crunch and flavor of freshly picked cucumbers. At home, food will bring you closer together as you explore new culinary adventures through the produce you choose to pick. We’re certain the conversations around your dining table (set with farm fresh flowers) will bring discussions of everything from healthy food access, creating stronger communities, wiggling worms, and so much more. FarmCollageIn case you were wondering, Community Supported Agriculture is a member-supported program implemented by many local farmers to generate revenue needed to run the farm for the season.  Members share the risks and bounties associated with growing.  You and your families may experience the (over) abundance of kale or the possible devastation caused by wildlife as they devour every leaf of an anticipated crop. These and other acts of nature are common realities faced by all farmers.

Picking days are scheduled for Thursdays and Saturdays from 9am to 2pm. Just bring your bags, containers, and cooler. Cutting implements will be provided and you’ll receive guidance from staff and interns to ensure you have the knowledge and information you need to harvest in a responsible manner. You can expect to harvest a weeks worth of desired fresh vegetables with the potential to harvest enough to store for later use.

U-Pick Farm Shares are available in a variety of offerings to fit into your schedule and your budget. Scholarships are available. Everyone should have access to healthy food.FarmSharePrice Your support helps fuel various farm programs from FarmLab field trips, WormU and the Foster Worm Program, Youth leadership building Internships, and healthy food access programs. We could not do this without the generous support of our sponsors:
