Rich & Creamy Basil Butter

Enjoy butter long after the summer ends with basil butter! This tasty twist is great to spread on bread, season vegetables, fish, chicken, and pasta. Pick a bundle at the CCG Farm and try out this easy recipe! Basil Butterbasil Ingredients 1 1/2 cups basil leaves 2 sticks salted butter 1/2 tsp lemon juice 1/2 tsp garlic salt 1/8 tsp ground pepper 1/4 tsp season salt half pint Ball jar Instructions Wash basil leaves well. Put in food processor and pulse until finely chopped. Add the rest of the ingredients to the food processor and blend until smooth. Spoon mixture into Ball jar and enjoy!

This basil butter should be stored in the refrigerator or freezer.
