Get your daily fruit and veggies with this smoothie

Looking for a quick, nutritious, and healthy snack?  Gather late summer arugula from the CCG Farm and combine with pears for this surprising smoothie!

Pear and Arugula Smoothie

- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice - 1 cup arugula, tightly packed - 1 Tbsp walnuts - 1/2 ripe pear, cored and peeled - 1 quarter-sized piece of fresh ginger, peeled - 2 to 4 Tbsp of plain low-fat yogurt - 3 ice cubes

Directions Combine all ingredients and blend for one minute or until smooth. Enjoy!
